Register a Customer leaving
this is to register when a tenant or other occupier who is already a Utility Warehouse customer that you/your company have registered who has an established date for vacating a property
As soon as a leaving date is known and ideally two weeks in advance (preferably four weeks) the Customer must call 0845 099 0099 (Utility Warehouse Home Moves department) and advise them of -
The date of the move
Where they are moving to
That they wish to transfer their services to that address
That the property should be re-registered with (one of) UWplus property / Your Company / The Property Owner
You should advise the Customer how the property is to be registered with Utility Warehouse
If you are a registered Utility Warehouse Distributor - go to A below
If you are NOT a registered Utility Warehouse Distributor - go to B below
A if you are an Authorised UW Distributor
If the property is to be re-registered with - (note: the property does not have to be re-registered with the entity it was originally registered with)
UWplus property - recommended
Call us on 01606 350328 or email uwplus@uwclub.net and advise us of the date when the Customer will leave the property, and the names of the outgoing and incoming occupants (if known) together with contact mobile telephone numbers and any known forwarding address(es)
On the date of leaving the property meter readings must be provided to UWplus by e-mail at uwplus@uwclub.net.
Your Company
The nominated representative of the Company must call Utility Warehouse 0845 099 0099 and advise them, that the existing account in the Customer name for the property is to be transferred to the Company. In addition, check that the outgoing Customer has provided the necessary details. If not get back to the Customer and request that they do so.
On the date of leaving meter readings must be provided to energy@telecomplus.co.uk.
The Property Owner
The Property Owner must call Utility Warehouse 0845 099 0099 and advise them, that the existing account in the Customer name for the property is to be transferred to the Property Owner.
Call CSDA on 0208 955 5111 quoting your Executive ID Number and check that the outgoing Customer has provided the necessary details. If not get back to the Customer and request that they do so.
On the date of occupancy meter readings must be provided to energy@telecomplus.co.uk
B if you are not a UW Distributor
If the property is to be re-registered with - (note: the property does not have to be re-registered with the entity it was originally registered with)
